As we officially announced in our latest mail (wait, you got our last mail, didn't you?) the International Oenological Competition "Emozioni dal Mondo Merlot e Cabernet Insieme" is taking place next 14th, 15th and 16th October in Bergamo!
Today we're sharing some news about Emozioni dal Mondo 2021.
Let's start with a piece of news we're very proud about.
As you may already know (and if you don't, well that's why we're here), every year the International Oenological Competition "Emozioni dal Mondo Merlot e Cabernet Insieme" awards two kinds of medals. There are the OIV Medals (Great Gold, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) that are awarded thanks to the votes of the technical juries. There is also a Press Prize that is awarded thanks to the journalists' and divulgers' votes.
We're glad to announce that from the 17th International Oenological Competition "Emozioni dal Mondot Merlot e Cabernet Insieme" on, the Press Prize that is awarded every year to the wine for each Country that reaches the highest ratio (getting to the medal ratio established by the official regulation, obviously) according to the votes of Press committees, will be officially entitled to our friend Roberto Vitali. Roberto Vitali has been a relevant character in the wine production world in Bergamo standing on our side as far as growth and communication were involved that passed away a few years ago. The Roberto Vitali Press Prize is our homage to him.
