We already updated you about the Pandemic health procedures we're going to perform during the Competition. We also shared the main location of the event, Castello degli Angeli. Today, we're sharing the extra-tasting program with you!
Let's start from the beginning. The International Oenological Competition "Emozioni dal Mondo Merlot e Cabernet Insieme" is a three-day long event: Thursday, Friday and Saturday. As per usual, we tried to show to our national and international guests as much of our region as possibile. Following you'll find the cultural and touristic program we created to entertain our guests during their three-days staying in Bergamo.
Thursday afternoon is totally focused on welcoming in Bergamo the guests arriving from all around Europe. During the afternoon we planned a special guided tour of Bergamo City Centre. On Thursday Night we organized the traditional Welcome Dinner for our guests.
After the official tasting of Emozioni dal Mondo 2021, on Friday 15th October Consorzio Tutela Valcalepio organized Valcalepio Focus Bio. Valcalepio Focus Bio is a tasting desk focusing on organic D.O. wines produced by the wineries of Consorzio Tutela Valcalepio. The producers are going to take part to the event in order to meet the guests and present their organic wines and their wineries. The tasting task will take place in the charming organic vineyard called La Meridiana and Villa La Primavera in Scanzorosciate.
Saturday morning will be focused on the artist Giovan Battista Moroni. To celebrate the 500 anniversary from the birth of this important artist from Bergamo, we decided to organize a special Tour in the historical City Centre of Bergamo Alta. We'll be visiting Palazzo Moroni that recently re-opened to the public, and some other relevant places in Bergamo Alta.
